I liked the movie-you can borrow it if you want to check it out.

I liked his article though. The Walker Texas Ranger comment was funny and I can see his point on it. I also liked his subtle yet not subtle jab at the movie with his email link--nice touch!

The big shindig is this Sunday right? There have been a lot of buzz on the news programs as to whether or not Jon Stewart will be a flop in the larger scheme of things or not since he mostly appeals only to "hip New Yorkers and Californians and the youth and few in between..." Kinda funny and bizarre because I wouldn't have thought that to be the case but apparently we are young hip Californians so we are in the elite fan base : )

Stace,
I actually had another few paragraphs defending the movie a little bit, but they pretty much left in all the hate. It's not a terrible movie, just a grossly overrated one.
It's funny, because the prominent Arts staff people (including myself) all have Oscar predictions in the paper today, and at least two of them made a specific point to say how awesome Crash is.
I have to work at the art theater (where Good Night and Good Luck and Brokeback are showing) during the Oscars. The irony is about as subtle as Crash.

I am a hip New Yorker.....in my mind.

I'll watch Crash, we'll see.

I can't wait for the Oscars. Other than the dresses I can't wait to see Jon Stewart. I read that a lot of former Onion people are part of his writing staff. Should be a hoot.

Sorry Joe. Maybe you guys can watch it at work or something. Tape it.
